The game won´t let me play after I Installed it

Hello everybody! So I am a very new member in this forum and I have played Mobil 1 Rally Championship before. So I wanted to play this game again but there was a problem, so I installed the game in https://abandonwaregames.net/game/mobil-1-rally-championship I Downloaded the game and Installed so it would be in the disk. So I wanted to Install the game so I pressed the install button, sure enough the game was installing, so after it was installed it put me into the Installation screen again and this time I couldn´t press the play button. So if anyone knows how to fix this problem then it will be amazing and Thank You so much!

Copy it into the folder containing the game and launch it. It should work like a charm!

Thank You very much SpartaX18! But I installed the game twice and I could play the game with out the fix, but thank you very much SpartaX18! Oh and also I wanted to ask you, hoe could I fix the problem with the Arcade 2 In Level 2 where if you were sliding in mud the game would crash and say Guru Meditition or just crash. I tried to lower the Framerate to 30 FPS with the RivaTurner Statistics program and it still didn´t work. So if you know how to fix this problem it would very nice and Thank You for trying to help me with the errors!

That's odd, the game almost never crashes at 30FPS for me. I suppose you can try simply avoiding the mud, or setting the FPS even lower (if you can withstand that).

Oh nevermind I found out if I run the RivaTurner Statstics and Mobil 1 Rally Championship it showed the FPS in the top left corner 30 FPS. But I still want to Thank You a lot for trying to help me get working the game, so again Thank You Very Much!

I had a same issue as crazy racer. I dealt with it by uninstalling and reinstalling afterwards however it wasnt so simple - I did it this way:
1. emulate your RC2000 cd (.iso image)
2. click ral.exe in emulated cd drive with WIN95 compatibiilty turned ON
3. Uninstall (before that you can copy your savegame data to another file)
4. install (I chose 10MB installation on C: drive)
5. Paste your savegame data to proper folder if you want
6. run the installed ral.exe file with WIN95 compatibility
7. Beat Caroline Lopez.

That's all. I Dont have any problems so far.

Dang, got any noob-proof alternatives for step 7? /s

Unfortunately I don't- from my in-game experience I can only say that beating Caroline Lopez makes this software more happy and so it stops crashing
